Lab/Shul’s Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie and Muslim Community Network’s Kujegi Camara at an Interfaith Prayer Vigil for New Zealand Mosques Terror Attack in Washington Square Park, hosted by Muslim Community Network.

The most recent massacre in New Zealand demands of us to grow beyond our inherited formulas of “Us vs. Them” to be simply “Us”. There is no there there – only here. There is no “Other”, only “Each Other”. We are called to stand with all victims of bigotry and hate, rising high with each other for the vision of dignity and safety we all aspire to.
